Exploring Nature and Identity through Art

Ann grew up not far from the Burren in County clare, in this karst landscape of stone and sky is a tradition of creation spanning back to many thousands of years.

As I was shaped by the landscape I came from and now find myself in the lush jungles of New Zealand I try to capture some of the light, and essential life in these areas. The Maori undertandings of our interconnectedness with nature have informed my practice in New Zealand.
